About Us
Hobby Farm equestrian centre is run by Gaby Ray, who lives on site with her young family, cat and dogs, and Eve who also lives on-site.
Gaby has worked hard to make Hobby Farm what it is today taking it from agricultural land in 2014 to a first class livery yard and equine centre obtaining full planning permission in 2017. Alongside all that, this busy couple own Hobby Farm Holidays Campsite too, a tranquil location for adult-only campers.
Gaby
Gaby has always been passionate about horses from a young age and has spent all her working career with horses starting 17 years ago at a livery in Wiltshire.
Since then she has worked with injured and sick horses at the prestigious Endell Equine Hospital in Salisbury gaining excellent knowledge in emergency first aid and veterinary care.
Gaby brings a wealth of experience to her own livery yard and is always on hand to answer questions and share her knowledge with others to provide a happy and enjoyable stable environment.
Eve
Eve has been riding since the age of 5 is passionate about the welfare of horses and has amazingly high standards of care.
She has successfully shown at county level and rides a wide variety of horses and is a very calm and sympathetic rider.
Eve has worked with Gaby since the yard started in 2014 and takes care of the day to day of its running and is very trustworthy and knowledgeable with experience in all aspects of equine care and management.
Eve is quite the perfectionist, with high standards and horses turned out immaculately.
